In order to understand the existing sources of greenhouse gases in Minnesota and the projected emissions in the future, the Minnesota Climate Change Advisory Group (MCCAG) commissioned a study on this topic. The Center for Climate Strategies produced a draft report for use by the MCCAG and the Technical Work Groups (TWGs) as they analyzed options for reducing emissions. The MCCAG and TWGs reviewed, discussed, and evaluated the draft inventory and forecast methodologies as well as alternative data and approaches for improving the draft GHG inventory and forecast. The inventory and forecast have been revised to address the comments provided by the MCCAG and TWGs.
